Congratulations to our NC Cross Country team and our state qualifiers. The girls received District Runner-up and qualified as a team: Angela Frick-3rd, Zoey Snyder-6th and Fallon Wietzki- 17th. State qualifiers for the boys are Nate Frick-3rd and Leighton Deibler-15th. Congratulations!

Some of our FFA officers attended Connecting Chapters host by the Nebraska Farm Bureau. Students learned how to present agricultural elementary lessons and demonstrated the skills that they learned. Thank you to the Nebraska Farm Bureau for this opportunity!

Thank you to the Keya Paha County Fire and Rescue crew that came to school for Fire Safety Week. Students in grades K-6 got a good review and rides in the fire trucks and the ambulance! ~ United We Educate ~

The first quarter of school is nearing its end. That means it is time for Parent-Teacher Conferences! We can't wait to see you on Wednesday, October 15 from 2:30 pm until 6:00 pm. K-6 teachers will reach out for scheduling and teachers for grades 7-12 will be set up in the high school gym for drop in visits. Students will be dismissed at 1:50 pm that day.

Hello friends and neighbors The BINS to collect NEW & USED stuffed animals have been dropped off at the following locations: Turbine Mart in Springview, West Plains Bank in Springview, the Rock County Library in Bassett, and the Valentine Public Library in Valentine. Also, Parent-Teacher conferences are Oct. 15th, 2:30pm-6pm; that would be the perfect time to bring them in.
