Just a reminder to go through your stuffed animals!!!!! The Project Management Class of Keya Paha County Schools—Reece Taylor, Kassie Schrader, Thomas Carr, and Ely Weller—invites you to join our Stuffed Animal Drive from October 6 through November 24. Look for the large collection bins at the Turbine Mart in Springview, the West Plains Bank in Springview, the Rock County Library in Bassett, and the Valentine Public Library in Valentine. Every stuffed animal donated will go to charities and hospitals, helping bring comfort, joy, and smiles to children in need. On October 15th Keya Paha students headed to Chadron State College for Scholastic testing, with 32 schools there competing. Shoutout to the following for placing in their individual tests! Landon Stephen-3rd place in Health, Ely Weller-3rd place in World History, Thomas Carr-8th place in Physical Science and 10th place in Chemistry, Bailey Kaufman-10th place in General Biology and Karleigh Crawford-10th place in Health.

Practice for Junior High Girls Basketball will begin on Monday, October 27th at KPCS.

We will have a send-off for the State Cross Country Runners, managers and coaches on Thursday Oct 23rd starting at 1:35 outside the front of the High School

Congratulations to our NC Cross Country team and our state qualifiers. The girls received District Runner-up and qualified as a team: Angela Frick-3rd, Zoey Snyder-6th and Fallon Wietzki- 17th. State qualifiers for the boys are Nate Frick-3rd and Leighton Deibler-15th. Congratulations!
