It's officially Read Across American Week! This year our mission is bigger than the classroom. We know that when school and home team up, our student's literacy levels soar! Keep an eye out all week for tips on how we can partner to grow our favorite readers.

Parent-Teacher conferences are an important bridge between your child's life at home and their growth in the classroom. When we sit down together, we aren't just discussing grades - we are building a roadmap for your child's success! Come see us on Tuesday, March 10. Students and parents in grades K-6 will visit with teachers by appointment. Teachers for grades 7-12 will be available in the gym from 3 pm until 7 pm.
We will also be gathering information from parents to help make school wide improvements! We want to hear from you so, stop in to complete the survey.
Who says science has to be a sit down class? Not Mrs. Lewis! She took the 7th grade class to the gym to model cell replication using pool noodles, blending science and movement to learn what can be a complicated science concept. Great things happen at KPCS!

Congratulations to Mason Schubauer, who has been selected to receive the Walter Scott Jr. Career Pathway Scholarship through Northeast Community College. This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievements and leadership qualities. We are proud of you, Mason!
Krispy Kreme doughnuts are coming to town! The sophomore class will be taking orders through March 20th. Doughnuts will be delivered and available for pickup on the afternoon of April 2nd.
