Congratulations to our North Central Cross Country runners! They represented Knight Nation well at the State Cross Country Meet in Kearney on Friday, October 24! Senior Angela Frick medaled for the fourth time at the state competition! Impressive!! She placed 12th with a time of 20:07.6. Junior Zoey Snyder PR’ed with a time of 21:27, placing 46th. Senior Fallon Wietzki had a PR on this course with a time of 22:58. In the boys race, Nate Frick set a PR of 17:41.5 on one of the most difficult courses in the state. Senior Layton Deibler also had a PR for this course with a time of 19:28.4 earning him 114th place. More important than medals and placings was the grit these athletes demonstrated. There was no quit! They faced every challenge in front of them and literally ran it down! Congratulations to them, their coaches Jane Klemesrud and Daisy Frick, their parents and their loyal supporters. ~ United We Educate ~
