On November 9th, North Central Health Department visited the school and spoke with K-4th students about the side effects of smoking. 5th-8th graders discussed distracted driving and also experienced "drunk goggles" and how drinking can impair driving.

Team West has moved into the lead with 22 items, but Team East is VERY close behind with 21 items. This week we are hoping for lots of canned goods. Remember there are boxes in both school buildings, Homeland Grocery and Turbine Mart.

Don't forget the Zak Palmer Memorial Blood Drive is tomorrow from 7:30-1:30 in the multipurpose room (grade school gym). Bring your photo ID. Appointments are still available but walk-ins are also welcome.

Juniors and Seniors who would like to apply for a dual credit class for the Spring 2022 semester. Registration opens today through Northeast. The list of classes available is listed below. Please come find Mrs. Hoover for any help!

On November 4th and 5th, the Edgerton Explorit Center from Aurora, NE, will be doing hands-on labs and experiments with all ages K-12. KPCS students will be engaged in two days of fun-filled learning. We will also be having Family Night, where we encourage our parents to join in all the fun with an Arctic Blast Demonstration. Family Night will be on Thursday, November 4th, from 5:30-7:30 pm.

Katelyn Painter and Jackson Hallock are leading an East vs. West food fight to restock the food pantry in Springview. The fun begins next week!

Sydney and Mrs. Trahan are headed to Indianapolis, IN for National FFA Convention. Sydney will be on RFD TV on Saturday (10/30) at 6:30AM-9AM CDT. She will be receiving her American Degree.
