Keya Paha County School will be having school starting at 10 o'clock on Friday, January 19, however, with the blowing winds some county roads may be impassable. Please drive safe and if your roads are not safe at this time, stay home, or come in when they are safe to travel. If you cannot make it in, please call to let us know.

10:00 a.m. First round begins on three mats.
Admission: Adults -- $6.00 Students -- $4.00
All wrestlers, student managers, and coaches will be free. No Passes will be accepted.
Format: The tournament will be run straight through with short breaks between rounds.
Officials: Eric Brandl, Curtis Childers, Austin Coufal, and Eric Weisdorfer
Awards: 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd place team trophies will be awarded at the conclusion of the meet.
Medals will be awarded to the top six places in each weight class. Steve Jessen Most
Outstanding Wrestler award will be given at the conclusion of the meet.

Warm-up: The first round games will be 8 minute warm up after that 5 minutes if you need it.
PLEASE NOTE if we can run ahead we will so teams be ready to go.
Losers of their first game will get 1 more game, winners will get 3 games.
Awards: In the A bracket we will hand out medals to 1 st , 2 nd , and 3 rd place.
Hospitality Room: There will be a hospitality room for all coaches and admin. Through out the day.
Locker rooms: Buses are encouraged to park on the North side of school or the East side of campus.

The West Holt boys Junior High Basketball game that was supposed to be played in Bassett will now be played at Springview on Monday-February 5th starting at 3:30
The Sandhills Wrestling Invite that was scheduled for January 13th has been rescheduled to Tuesday January 30th at 10:30 am
Due to the weather the NVC Wrestling Meet that was supposed to be held here on Thursday January 18th has been postponed to a later date
Basketball games vs Ainsworth at Bassett on Thursday January 18th will start with JV Girls playing 2 quarters at 4:30 with the JV Boys playing 2 quarters following. Girls Varsity and Boys Varsity will Follow

The games with Twin Loup have been canceled.
The games for tomorrow night, Tuesday Jan. 16th with Niobrara-Verdigre @ RC have been postponed to Monday Feb. 5th starting at 4:00PM.
There is no school tomorrow, Monday the 15th, at Keya Paha Co. Schools.
The school board meeting scheduled for Monday January 15th has been postponed to Wednesday, January 17th at 7:00 PM.
There will be no K-2 basketball game against Colome tomorrow evening, January 15th. When the Colome JH game is rescheduled we will look to see on gym availability to reschedule as well.

Due to road conditions and low wind chill temperatures, there will be no school at Keya Paha County School on Friday, January 12.
Basketball games vs Twin Loup scheduled for tomorrow Friday January 12th are postponed until a later date.
Members of the Keya Paha FFA traveled to Atkinson to compete in Leadership Development Events (LDEs). Students competed in Agricultural Demonstration, Employment Skills, Creed Speaking and Discovery Speaking. A full list of results will be posted in Springview Herald.
