Kindergarten Round-Up on April 4th!
KPCS will be conducting Early Childhood Screening (birth - pre-Kindergarten) on April 4. Screenings measure developmental milestones in motor, language, cognitive, adaptive, and social/emotional areas. Call Tammy at 402-497-3501 to schedule your child's screening. Track and Golf Pictures will be Next Thursday March 21st in Bassett. Track will go first and then Golf will be done out at the golf course.

The speech team wrapped up their season yesterday at District Speech in Stuart. Brenna placed 7th in humorous prose, all kids competed very well!

Keya Paha County School is experiencing a number of student illnesses. Please, if your child is feeling unwell, keep them home. They should return to school only after being fever free or no longer showing fever signs (chills, flushed appearance, feeling very warm, or sweating) for 24 hours. School WILL be in session for those that can attend on Thursday, March 7.

Keya Paha FFA welding team traveled to Beloit, Kansas last Friday to compete at the NCK Tech College GMAW welding competition. Out of 48 team they placed 19th! Out of 182 individuals Jackson-40th, Beau-71st, John-102, Connor-121.
Final Results for FFA Career Development Events (CDEs) #1. Natural Resources, Meat Science, and Vet Science will compete this coming Tuesday for the chance to compete at State FFA CDEs.

On the Road Again! FFA members traveled to Norfolk bright and early on Monday to compete in Food Science, Agriscience, Ag. Biotechnology, Ag. Technology & Mechanics, Vet Science, and Welding. Results will be posted later this week! The Welding Team is heading to Kansas to compete at the NCK Welding Competition next.
