Today the 8th grade agricultural class sought opportunities to learn about range judging. Students participated in the District 10-south range judging competition in Sargent, NE. Students gained skills in identifying ecological sites, plant identification, and interpreting range maps. Students also stopped at a historical site explaining the history of the Sandhills rangelands. Students also stopped at the Bassett Livestock Auction to get a sneak preview of the next area of study. It was a great day full of seeking opportunities and seeking learning with this great group of engaged learners!

There has been a change of start time Thursday for the Volleyball Triangular in Bassett--The start time is now 4:00 for the first game.

He helps his classmates, is working hard to be ready for all his classes, takes time to think of others and is doing a wonderful job of getting himself ready for whatever is happening next!
