The One-Act Team would like to invite everyone to the high school to watch our performance on November 22nd at 1 pm. We'd love to see everyone there!

NC Student Athletes attended the Nebraska Coaches Association Sportsmanship and Leadership Summit in Norfolk yesterday. Guest speakers included Former Husker Volleyball National Champions Mikaela (Foecke) Richter and Kenzie Maloney. Along with Proactive Coaching speaker Rob Miller

Junior High Livestock judgers went to Atkinson to participate in a junior high livestock competition hosted by O'Neill FFA chapter. Students then stopped in at the Bassett Livestock Auction to further understand the livestock industry.

The One-Act team attended the conference competition in Stuart yesterday and placed 6th out of the 8 schools that attended. We will be having a public performance in the high school on November 22nd for everyone to attend, hope to see you there!

This is the LAST week for the NHS food fight. Team East was the winner of the "Box the Bosses" challenge, but Team West "Canned the Secretary" in week 2. Household goods count double in this final week!

We will run a 2 o'clock schedule on Friday, November 10 for our Veteran's Day Program. Students will go with their 8th period/classroom teacher to the gym for the Veteran's Day Program. School is dismissed at the completion of the program. You are invited to have coffee and cookies with our Veteran's Day guests in the lunch room. Please dress in the RED, WHITE and BLUE! You are also invited to add photos of your veterans to the table outside the office to honor their service throughout the month of November. Bring a picture and add their name and any service information you feel important. ~All Gave Some, Some Gave All~

A different kind of “fund-raiser”. Mrs. Keck is hosting a PaperPie (formally Usborne Books) Facebook party. All products earned at the party will go toward the After School Enrichment program or to help support the Resource students. Not only are great books available, but now there are also STEM toys. There are chances to win prizes for those that participate. The party is “officially” set for Tuesday, Nov. 7th at 7:00, but you can check it out any time this week. Christmas is coming, and this is a great opportunity for anyone with children in their lives to get quality gifts for kids of all ages.
